3 lbs. per gallon Paraquat dichloride as the cation formed from 4.14 lbs. per gallon Paraquat dichloride salt.

Helmquat 3SL is a 3 lbs. per gallon Paraquat formulation used for both weed control and assistance in crop desiccation/defoliation. Containing such safety factors as dye coloring, nontoxic stench, and emetic, Helmquat 3SL is rapidly absorbed by green plant tissue and disrupts the photosynthetic pathway creating superoxides which destroy plant cells.  Helmquat 3SL will control most broadleaf and grass weeds while suppressing many perennials as well.  Helmquat 3SL can be used as a preplant or preemergence burndown in most crops where it provides fast weed kill (1-2 days) making it ideal for minimum or no till.  Helmquat 3SL can also be used in some crops with a shielded or hooded sprayer and as a directed spray to control weeds in row middles.    Helmquat 3SL can also be used as a harvest aid to defoliate crops including alfalfa, dry beans, cotton, potatoes, soybean and sunflower.  Helmquat 3SL is also effective in managing orchard and tree crop floors.  Always read and follow label directions.
