With headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee, Helm Agro US, Inc. began operations in January 2003 as an independently operated subsidiary of Helm AG of Hamburg, Germany. Helm Agro was founded to bring generic crop protection products to the US utilizing Helm AG's world-wide position in generic agricultural products and the experience of the Helm Agro staff in chemical production and marketing. Helm Agro first started business by bringing glyphosate under the trade name Helosate®, and Ro-Neet® and Sutan® have since been added to the product portfolio.
